In this 3-day drawing class for kids 9+, artists will create characters, dream up ideas, and draw from both real life and their imagination. We’ll explore textures, bold lines, and pops of color using pencil, charcoal, and digital tools. By playing with line weight and drawing in loose, unexpected ways, kids will build confidence, invent stories through their artwork, and discover how each medium brings their ideas to life.

Class Overview:
In this 3 day hands-on class, students will explore storytelling and design through the creation of stickers—both digitally and through mixed media techniques. Using markers, pencil and Procreate, students will learn the basics about layers to turn their artwork into real-world products. This class is an introduction to using traditional tools like pencils and markers and integrating digital tools and self-expression.

Our instructors are professional artists with experience at NIKE, LAIKA Animation, Hasbro Toys, Warner Brothers, and Roblox. With decades of expertise, their work reflects how modern creatives navigate the industry—not confined to a studio or a single workspace.
Creativity happens in motion—on a phone, at a café, in a sketchbook while traveling. It is fluid, adaptable, and unrestricted. Our approach embraces this freedom, using iPads, cell phones, and digital tools that fit into a backpack. This is the future of creative work, and we are here to explore it together.
