Watercolor : For Beginners, where to start.

$380.00

In this beginners watercolor class, we will explore key techniques to create depth, texture, and harmony in our paintings. Using a light-to-dark approach, we will break down the steps of planning a composition, ensuring smooth transitions and controlled layering. Through techniques, we will build color gradually, preserving highlights and enhancing form.

We will also experiment with wet-on-wet painting, allowing colors to blend naturally for soft, organic effects, while negative space will help define our subject with contrast and intentional highlights. A key focus will be on color mixing, distinguishing between intense, vibrant hues and compound colors that create softer, more muted tones.

Our focus for this session will be white, offering a challenge in capturing light, shadow, and subtle variations in tone while preserving the luminosity of the paper. This project will reinforce the importance of planning, layering, and using the transparency of watercolor to achieve depth and realism.

Schedule:
🖌May 1st - 22th,Thursday, 6-9 PM (4 Weeks)
